Fixed Dents with Pics

A few days ago my friend KC finished fixing the dents in the fretboard on this neck I picked up a while back. Here it is in way too much detail.

You can also see the scratches/marks in the frets themselves that I need to fix. It can be slow going at times, but I will build this guitar. The key will be taking one little step at a time. Wish me luck!

p.s. Thanks to KC for getting me much further along than I’d ever be on my own!

  1. Good luck! That’s a nice looking neck and with a good soak of lemon or citrus oil and a polish of the frets with steel wool it’ll positively glow.

    • That’s the idea! Although there are some serious gouges in the frets between the 15th and 20th. I’m hoping they’ll come out with steel wool, but may have to get some files. I’ll keep you posted and thanks for all the advice and encouragement!
