My law school band came up with a list of possible names. My favorite was Penoyer and the Neffs, but we ended up with Supplemental Jurisdiction. Very law school.
So Supplemental Jurisdiction had two gigs during its illustrious rise to wealth and fame. The first was my birthday. The second was a law school party. Both gigs consisted of us playing 10 or 12 songs through twice, with a break to chat between sets. I think the main reason we did two sets each time was that I was so nervous that I sucked for the first set. By the second set I had calmed down and realized I could do this. Ah, good times.
